Hosted Digital Voice & Video Contract With XCast Labs

 

Veteran XCast Engineering Team Launches, Activates Service in Less Than 10 Days

 

LOS ANGELES, Sterling Heights, MI (December24, 2008) -- XCast Labs (www.xcastlabs.com), a leading global provider of SaaS digital voice and video solutions, today announced that Iliria Telecom would use XCast’s Hosted Digital Voice & Video (DV&V) platform.

 

In less than one week, the XCast Labs team rolled out and activated the Iliria DV&V service, and was handling substantial customer traffic within 10 days. 

 

According to XCast Labs’ Chief Technology Officer, Vlad Smelyansky, “Rapidly migrating the existing 800+ ATAs was, without question, a serious technical challenge, but we were confident that our experienced engineering team was up to the task.

 

He continued, “As we know automated provisioning of ATAs and SIP Phones exceptionally well, we were able to write, test and implement code that reconfigured and upgraded the Iliria devices so the customers were back in service with the absolute minimum of down time.” 

 

Iliria’s customers call internationally to Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo quite frequently, and have reported a high level of satisfaction in regard to the quality provided by XCast’s international carrier partners, which include AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Level 3, and Bell Canada.
