XCast picks up 2 new customers

Florida Cable and S. Bryer Communications (SBC) are both now relying on XCast Labs to help them provide SaaS (software as a service) digital voice and video services, the vendor announced at The Independent Show.

Florida Cable serves a number of private, residential golf communities in Florida, including Royal Harbor, Legacy of Leesburg, Highland Lakes, Black Bear Reserve, Twin Lakes and Arlington Ridge. The company passes more than 40,000 homes with its HFC network.

According to Florida Cable Director of Technical Services, Jim Pierce: "We chose XCast because they adapted to fit our needs rather than simply providing the product and forcing us to change our procedures and operations. Most importantly, XCast delivered on every promise they made within the timeframes provided."

SBC is a full-service, independent communications provider with operations in Mt. Orab and Vernon, both in Ohio.

Scott Bryer, president of S. Bryer Communications, said: "XCast’s fully hosted white label solution is perfect for a company our size.
