Residential & Small Office
With nearly 20 million residential and small office / home office (SOHO) customers having adopted VoIP services, it's clear this is the wave of the future for telecommunications. And as people experience the value and benefits of VoIP in their home, they become more interested in bringing that same value and feature-rich environment into their work spaces, as well.
XCast's Residential & Small Office service is a complete first-line replacement offering. It includes all the popular telco features—Enhanced Caller ID, 3-way Calling, Call Waiting, Do Not Disturb, Call Forwarding, Call Blocking, etc.—at no extra charge.
The service goes far past its competitors with its fully integrated Unified Communications (UC) suite– again, at no extra charge. This comprises of voicemail, videomail and faxes delivered to email; voicemail alerts via SMS; voicemail via RSS feed.
Then we layer on CallBlast—a highly intelligent combination of call forwarding and find me / follow me service. If the end-user wants to be found, they will be.
Our competition charges extra for UC and CallBlast—we would charge you extra to take it out!

IP-PBX
Up until recently, businesses looking for phone systems have had only two unattractive options. Traditional PBXes are very expensive. Key systems don't have the full feature set needed and don't scale as business grows. Times have changed!
XCast's hosted IP-PBX is almost infinitely scalable, and it's ideal for supporting workers in multiple locations or who travel frequently. The Internet seamlessly and inexpensively connects the main office with branch locations and telecommuters located anywhere around the globe. Calls between locations are free!
Enjoy the benefits of Unified Communications (UC). XCast's service integrates enhanced voicemail, faxes and email—saving employees time and enhancing productivity—and comes as a standard feature.
With the complexities of running and growing a business, no one wants a complicated system that requires a "phone guy" or a team of engineers to run it. XCast's user-friendly, web-based interface allows a Service Provider or even an end-user to deploy, configure and manage the system with very little help from us. Of course, XCast's support team will help out when needed and answer any questions. Expensive phone system maintenance contracts become a thing of the past.

SIP Trunking
Companies are realizing they don't need to pay the monthly recurring charges associated with maintaining distinct voice and data networks when they can realize significant and immediate savings by running voice as an application on their existing data network.
With the XCast SIP Trunking solution, calls are routed via our award-winning network through the Internet rather than through the PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network), providing enterprises of all sizes with substantial savings by eliminating the need for costly T-1 PRI circuits and the expensive telco services that go along with them.
Companies keep their existing phone equipment and phone numbers, or they can add new numbers from over 10,000 cities in the US or 60 countries around the globe. The savings and not as great as with our IP-PBX solution and it also doesn't bring the benefits of fully integrated Unified Communications (UC), but SIP Trunking gives the security and convenience of keeping the existing phone system and the features it provides. Think of it as an evolutionary step into VoIP as opposed to a revolutionary one.
The Two Flavors
SIP Trunking has two flavors, or variants. The first—Address Trunking—is used if your existing phone system is already SIP-enabled and can communicate directly with our SIP Trunking application. If you are using Fonality, Allworx, Shoretel or any Asterisk-based IP-PBX, we can provide you the phone numbers, 911 service and call termination you need.
The second—Device Trunking—is used if your existing phone system is not yet SIP-aware. A multi-port FXS gateway is installed between your phone system and your LAN. This allows your existing phone system to make and receive calls over the Internet. Because our application can address each port or line of your phone system through that gateway, we can offer you features like Trunk Groups, overflow voicemail to email and Caller ID management that your existing phone system must provide under Address Trunking.
Look at the diagrams below to see the difference between the two.
Features
- Device Trunking: Web-based Administrator Control Panel (ACP) to manage all features from a single UI
- Device Trunking: Trunk Groups to optimize call flow
- Device Trunking: Overflow calls are sent to voicemail, then delivered via email
- Both Trunking: Enhanced Caller-ID (Caller Name)
- Phone numbers from over 10,000 US cities plus over 60 Countries
- Toll-free numbers (ported or new)
- Full 911 coverage in US and Canada
- Inbound faxes delivered to email inbox and outbound faxing from most Windows applications
- Flexible service plans to meet your needs and your budget
- Add lines when you want—pay only for what you need
- Rapid service setup and activation
- Very low activation fees
VoIP-Mobile
Extending your VoIP service to include your WiFi- or G4-enabled mobile phone is very easy. Simply download the appropriate SIP Dialer application for your mobile phone operating system – iPhone, Symbian (Nokia) or Android (coming soon), and follow the instructions to install and configure the application to use your VoIP service whenever you can access a WiFi or G4 network.
G3 networks do work, but the quality of calls is so variable that we do not support calls being made over a G3 network.
